Poetry Adopted Me

Poetry adopted me.

It found me on an empty screen.

Poetry freed me from solitude.

I was an orphan when poetry adopted me.

I haven’t disappeared from this everlasting movie.

The movie hasn’t ended for me.

Poetry adopted me as if it was a human being.

Poetry freed me from emptiness,

but it mixed my blood with blue ink.

Now, I am a pen addict.

Poetry adopted me as if I was a lost kid.

Poetry freed me from solitude.

In return I gifted it with my gratitude.

Poetry found me to feed.

Maybe I found it.

However, poetry adopted me.
