Sean O'Neil
Sean is a Canadian author/writer who has published fourteen novels to date and is known for his quick-paced thriller style. He is well recognized in the industry for the quality of his writing with two Amazon best-sellers and his half dozen literary awards. Sean was nominated for book of the year and author of the year for his novel, Jhill, in 2025. He currently holds a 4.10 rating on Goodreads.com
In 2022, Sean entered the film world after attending the Toronto Metropolitan University in their Film Studies program. From that point, he began to adapt his novels into film scripts. With early success in the film festival circle, Sean founded Sensory Films Inc. to establish a mechanism to bring the stories to the screen. From there, Sean entered into a joint venture agreement with MyFlyx Media Inc. where some twenty film projects are currently under the agreement.
To date, Sean has won fifteen film festivals for best screenplay, including the Austin Short Film Festival, the New York Independent Film Awards, and the Santa Barbara International Movie Awards.
Prior to his writing career, Sean, an MBA graduate, spent nearly thirty years in the corporate world. During that time, he held multiple executive positions in the Information Technology world, including CEO. Sean has always been an avid sportsman. He spent years playing competitive hockey, baseball, and was a licensed welterweight boxer on the senior circuit.
Sean is also an adventurer who has travelled much of the world seeking out stories that create the richness of his books and screenplays.
