Christina Francine

Christina Francine is a Western New York-based author and college writing instructor who explores the boundaries of protection and peril. Her work ranges from the eerie Scottish folklore of her dark fantasy series, The Woman in Green from Cromarty, to her upcoming science-fantasy novel, Dream Guardian. A prolific contributor to the literary community, Christina has published over 250 reviews, several articles, and the children's picture book Special Memory. Whether she is crafting high-octane "protector" stories or analyzing student writing in the Journal of Literary Innovation, Christina brings a resilient and aspirational voice to every project. She is an active member of the Elk Grove Writers’ Guild and a guest on The Author Show.

Christina holds a B. A cum laude in Children’s Literature and in Education from the University at Castleton, Vermont, and an M.A. in English Studies with a concentration in writing from SUNY Fredonia, New York. She also holds teacher certification for the State of New York and is a member of EGWG - Elk Grove Writers' Guild.
