I've always been fascinated with the printed word. That's why I became a journalist.

I believe you should put something of yourself into the work. That helps writer and reader connect.

Q: How do you create your characters?
With detailed descriptions so the reader can see the character in their mind's eye. The description should fit the rhythm of the story.

Q: What does your typical writing day look like?
Write for an hour or two. Go for a lengthy walk, thinking about what I just wrote. Then working for a few more hours untilbI feel something has been accomplished.

Q: What has been the most rewarding part of being an indie author?
Getting knee-deep into the art. Using every ounce of my ability to spin a captivating yarn.

Being honest about the worth of the work, not settling for just good enough.

Put in the work. Think quality over quantity. Push yourself to improve daily.

It's difficult. I use social media to get the word out.

Not at this time. Their Last Hurrah is my sixth book.
