Q: What inspired you to start writing?
God pursued me to write. For a Christian who has challenges in herself by doubting her capabilities to finish her calling to write was an achievement. Rebecca Ann life stories fills with hopes and dreams that has been shattered but relying on God’s time of restoration. It is happening presently one events at a time which she appreciated much.

Q: How do you create your characters?
Because it’s a memoir characters are real (except for their names). As well as the events that took place.

Q: What does your typical writing day look like?
When I write I basically was inspired by God. Some are through dreams and visions. This is true to my Christian brothers and sisters who has a deep and meaningful relationship towards God. Who sacrifices and gave their lives to God through their time, talent and their financial resources.

Q: What has been the most rewarding part of being an indie author?
When God showed up in an unexpectedly and when friends and people read it, I usually get a compliment. One couple friend asked me when is my next book writing be published. Most importantly when my lady pastor that my book “stirs up faith” which I consider my most highest compliment that I received. Not because I’m good in writing but the book itself became an inspiration to others inspite of challenges in their obedience towards God like Rebecca.

Q: What’s one challenge you’ve faced in your writing journey?
One of the challenges that I faced while writing my stories is to remembering my past not so good experiences but it was compensated with good and best memories because God was in it. He helped me to reminisce them with grace and awe to His faithfulness in my life inspite of my disobedience.

Paper and pen; laptop in today’s technology

Q: What advice would you give to new or aspiring indie authors?
To just pursue writing if it is asking you to write. Intentional and engaging to your fans as well as being genuine in conveying your message to people. Writing is a sacred calling if it’s topic is about God and life in general

Q: How do you handle book promotion as an indie author?
Presently it’s a word of mouth which I find it challenging. I am a self published author who relied on different platforms online. I have few success but I never gave up

Q: What’s next for you? Are you working on a new book?
It is in a draft presently and in time it will be fine by God’s help

Q: How do you stay focus in writing?
By knowing your big “why”. How you impact and inspite lives to have hope in the God of impossibilities.
